Call for papers

Online paper submission deadline date has been extended to 15 May 2013.

Papers accepted for presentation at Sensors & their Applications XVII will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), published by IOP Publishing. It will be a great opportunity to showcase the quality and range of research being presented at the conference as well as promote the event to a wider international audience.

JPCS is open access (free to read online), fully citable and receives a substantial number of full-text article downloads, ensuring your paper reaches the widest possible audience. JPCS received some 1.4 million downloads in 2009 and is on target for 2 million article downloads in 2010. JPCS proceedings are abstracted and indexed in Scopus, Compendex, Web of Science (Conference Proceedings CItation Index) and Inspec - among others - with ciatations also being tracked online by IOP Publishing's Citing Articles facility.

Important, please read before you submit a paper

Publication license for open access proceeding papers

For papers published in our open access proceeding titles, IOP Publishing no longer requires authors to sign and submit copyright forms. Please note that our regular journals are unaffected by this change. For our open access proceedings titles (including JPCS) copyright transfer forms are being replaced by a publishing license under which authors retain their copyright and no longer need to sign and submit any forms. Any author who wishes to publish in one of these titles must agree to the terms of license and by submitting a paper for publication in one of these titles it is assumed all authors of the paper agree, in full, to the terms of the license. The license terms and conditions are available online.

Please note the poster board dimensions are 1 metre wide and 2 metres high
